Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, are nationally recognized units of measurement for calculating the amount of time spent in professional learning experiences.  These units may count towards certification or recertification for the state in which you hold your teaching certificate.  CAG, as a CT State Department of Education CEU Provider, will issue CEU's to Connecticut teachers.

If you are seeking CEUs outside of Connecticut, please refer to your state's guidelines for documenting and receiving CEUs/Contact Hours earned out of state.  Certificates of Attendance will be provided upon completion of a conference evaluation.

Guidelines

  • You will receive a form when you check in.  You will need to indicate the activities in which you participated during your attendance at NECGT, including the total hours of participation at the bottom of the table. To receive CEUs, you must participate in at least 80% of the total learning activity.
  • Certificates will be mailed within 90 days of program completion for eligible participants whose registration fees have been paid in full.
  • Participants who attend NECGT can receive a maximum of 1.6 CEUs (16.25 hours by attending and documenting the full schedule of pre-conference and conference activities.
